Founded in 1994, Newport�s initial focus was brokering computer parts and peripherals. Since then it has grown into the electronics recycling and disposal (asset recovery) sector. In 1997, Newport was approved by a major computer manufacturer to handle their asset recovery needs - processing over 100,000 units yearly. Newport offers value return to customers by identifying and remarketing valuable assets and recycling commodities, thus lessening the amount of product entering the waste stream.

Built on accountability, sustainability, transparency and flexibility, today, Newport Computers is led by Shiva Nanda. Always forwardthinking; Newport has entered into a Joint Venture in India (Newport Computer Services [India] Private, Ltd.) with a facility in Bangalore. Newport looks to expand its business nationally and globally with exploration of similar services in China. As a small, minority-owned business, Newport is sensitive to customer needs and offers tailored solutions to meet those needs.
